8 km from the villa you can experience the world-famous Kandyan Cultural Dance Show, one of Kandy's most popular evening attractions. Train Ride to Ella

Located just 500 meters from the villa, Panideniya Railway Station is the ideal place to board the famous Ella train. Since the train travels from Colombo and reaches Panideniya before Kandy City, many passengers leave the train at Kandy Railway Station. This means that travelers boarding at Panideniya often have a much better chance of finding a seat, even without booking tickets in advance. It's a convenient way to enjoy one of the world's most spectacular train journeys through lush tea plantations, misty mountains, and breathtaking scenery.
